Old John Joseph was a lonely old man. He lived in a train depot in the rail yard just outside of town and, he lived their many years.
He has been their since the days when they had a lot of trains going thorough town. Now they are down to only one freight train a week. So old John had nothing to worry about but time.
I came by in the evenings to hear his stories, and hear about the places he's been, he'd just say "come in kid, let's see where should I start tonight". He would tell me stories of an existing past of travel and adventures. but he would always end with his story of Corey.
He'd would always say " My Corey's coming , There will be no more sad stories, no more lonely days or nights, and like I said before , when she holds you she will enfold you in her world."
I guess I was surprised by all the places he has been and all the things he has done. So I started asking around town if the stories were true. They told me, old John Joseph was born in this town and lived here all his life. No one could ever remember him being more then twenty five miles from his depot.
I checked around some more and found out he's never had a girlfriend let alone a wife, and no one by the name of Corey ever lived in this town.
END OF PART ONE-------------------------I'm going to try something different. I'm going to tell a story in two parts to keep from having to many words for some of my readers. I think it might be fun. I'll see you tomorrow.
